Washed up on the shores of Vylbrand with no memory and a name sewn on his clothes, Rossignol enjoys exploring the realm when he's not working or making archon loaves for a tiny Limsan tavern. Currently an "associate bodyguard" to the Gold Saucer's Ace of Emeralds, he has more money and free time than he has any right to, and he's living it.While he has accepted he's never getting his memory back, nobody knows when the past will catch up to this stray nightingale....if at all.

  • Tourist boy: You might have heard of a traveller who claims to be passing through the area. See how long he takes to annoy you with his utterly punchable face.

  • Arcanist for hire: Rossignol has a knack for arcanima and numbers. He's always up for a job but keep an eye on his price.

  • Gunblade trainee: He recently took up the gunblade to improve his stamina. Maybe you want to train with him? Or against him?

  • Odd aether: People with aethersight might notice Rossignol has a patchwork of aether on him. If they have fought primals it might be familiar...

  • An Allagan artifact? Why would you even go to him, it's not like he has anything of the sort on his person, ahahaha...ha.

Its ruins left to rot, and Solomon with it.The Seventh Umbral Calamity destroyed the facility he was stored at. His pod fell into the ocean where it drifted until it dashed against rocks, spitting him out on the shores of Vylbrand. He woke with no memory of his past, unaware and unable to retrieve the knowledge he stored. The title sewn on his shirt, mistaken for his name.Thus Rossignol Martinez was born.For now it would be enough.
